What is a group of flamingos called?

A group of flamingos is called a flamboyance. Flamingos are known for their bright pink coloration, long legs, and distinctive curved beaks. They are social birds that are often seen in large groups, standing and feeding together in shallow water. Flamingos get their pink color from the carotenoid pigments in the algae and small crustaceans they eat, which are rich in beta-carotene. Flamboyances of flamingos can consist of hundreds or even thousands of individuals, with some populations migrating in search of food and breeding grounds. These elegant birds are known for their synchronized movements when they are together, such as when they are moving in unison to feed or flying in a V formation.
